Good one! So, if the Hat suggested Harry would do well in Slytherin,
was it because the Hat sensed traits in Harry that would work well in
that House, or because Harry is simply connected to Riddle? If it is
the latter, then I'd have to say that Harry was never meant to be in
Slytherin to begin with and would never have fit in with that House.
Or, Voldemort's connection to him would have kicked in a lot sooner.
