Ohmygosh!  Your scenario practically had me in tears!  *cry!*  I 
really do hope that JKR creates an ending like this.  I think it 
would be very fitting for Harry to sacrifice his own life, or at the 
very least, his magical ability he only knew he had for 7 short 
years.  But I also do have a strong feeling Neville will come into 
greater play.  We are still waiting for that really big outburst of 
bravery that the sorting hat saw in him and somehow I don't think 
standing up to Malfoy or even Bellatrix is going to be his high point.
