Or McGonagall badgers Snape into accepting Harry into the Newt classes 
due to her promise that she would make sure he became an auror.  Who 
knows?  She might make some sort of bet with him that he could not 
resist, being as we are not sure what motivates him.  Maybe Dumbledore 
will insist Harry be let in?

One wonders what grade Neville got in his Potions O.W.L.?  Snape might 
have a heart attack if Neville turned up in his NEWT classes.. Or would 
Neville have a nervous breakdown if he got a O in potions?
