Lissa responded:
Sorry, Penny, I really should have included a link to my post discussing
the theory of Harry and Ginny being Tom's parents, but I didn't expect
anyone to take my Prophecy post seriously enough to care.
If you're interested, it's here:

In regard to canon, I am neutral on Harry/Ginny. I would prefer that
JKR treat Ginny's character with dignity and avoid making her a victim
again, but that doesn't necessitate a romance. Whatever direction
Rowling takes, I'm sure I'll be a satisfied reader. In fandom, I ship
Harry with someone else rather passionately, so my theory has no
relation to my vain fannish hopes.
I'm not sure what aspects of Tom Marvolo Riddle's parentage you believe
don't match well with Ginny, so I'm not sure how to respond. I'd go
through my reasons here, but it would just be a re-hash, more or less,
of that old post. If you do take a look at it and still have
questions/objections, please let me know.
Cheers,
Lissa B
