Harry... Well, he's just this guy, you know?

Ok, seriously. He was in the wrong place at the right time. But,
really... he could be any of us... He's a geek, sort of. (I mean that
in the positive sense you hear at linux or mac user groups, anime
clubs, LAN parties, and other geek hangouts). He sleeps in history
class, just like the rest of us did (any canon? is that fic
contamination?) He goofs off in Divination class; we've all had a class
like that.

He's got a friend that's smarter than him, and one who's not quite as
well-off as him. He has a teacher he (mutually) (sort-of?) hates. He
has a worst rival. His hair won't be combed. The extraordinary
situations he goes through do not diminish any of this. He's just a
normal person, like you or i are. He's only human.

Harry Potter... he's just this guy, you know?
