Hagrid is improving steadily. I quote Angelina "It's not like
Trelawney, he's been teaching much better than usual this year!"
We don't hear of any students dropping CoMC, either, even
Draco seems willing to stick with it.
Were any students injured in Hagrid's classes this year? I don't
think so. If not, they're probably safer than most Hogwarts
classes. I'm amazed anyone would think Snape's classes aren't
dangerous. Students are always being sent to the hospital wing
or having to line up for antidotes. There are injuries aplenty in
other classes as well. Neville was injured during flying lessons,
Ron was injured during charms in GoF, everyone gets sunburnt
in Herbology in PoA.
