I suspect the war may not hit Hogwarts directly.  Harry remains an 
underage wizard and student, and his participation with the OOP 
should not dominate book 6.  These stories are ultimately about 
Harry's coming of age, and we may have a sea change after the very 
stressful fifth year.  Maybe things will turn around for Harry?  Just 
think – the Ministry is now on the same page with Dumbledore; the 
Daily Prophet will be off Harry's back; Umbridge has been booted out; 
the DA will probably be allowed to flourish in the open; Harry and 
Ron will be playing quidditch together; Lucious Malfoy is under 
arrest; Harry will presumably be getting occulamancy lessons from the 
headmaster instead of Snape; and Harry may have grown in wisdom and 
self-control after the hard lessons of his fifth year.  This could be 
Harry's year
