I felt like that comment was Snape-talking-more-to-himself-than-to-Harry. He
saw himself in Harry and was remembering what it was like when he couldn't
shut off his emotions. The Shrieking Shack incident? He's seeing his childhood
tormentor who happens to be an escaped prisoner. If I saw some of the kids I
went to school with (um...elementary school...it was a bad time for me (oh!
i'm still in high school so it's not like holding a grudge for a billion
years...just a million...)) years later, I would definitely have a fit - it would
be positively Snape-ish I think!
