Hi Jennye, your objections are duly noted and if I'd had half a brain
(or any amount of experience posting to HP4G) I would have answered them
thoroughly in the original post of my theory back in May.

I don't think Harry Potter is Tom Riddle Sr. I think a memory-altered
Ginny Weasley goes to the past pregnant with Harry's child and doesn't
realize she's pregnant. She and Riddle Sr have a brief affair which
*she* believes results in the pregnancy. Because she believes it and
because Riddle Sr himself probably at least half believes it, these
beliefs are presented as facts to Tom Riddle Jr and he accepts them.

I cannot explain "Marvolo". Ginny may actually believe her father's
name is Marvolo when she gives birth to baby Tom. Ohhh how I wish I
understood the true significance of Marvolo.

Sorry about not explaining this stuff fully in my original post. I was a
novice poster and really blundered. :)

I don't expect, though, that my explanations have convinced you. Time
may well prove me to me a nut with an overactive imagination.

Cheers,
Lissa B
