We also saw how long it takes those spells to wear off if they're 
group-simulcast.   McGonagall was out for a good bit [and I think they 
only feared for her life because she was a very old lady].  

Heck, Sirius and Kreacher [so the little rat fink wouldn't casually 
mention it and get Sirius all wound up again] could've been memory 
modified. We know for a fact that can be done in seconds thanks to 
Marietta.
