Kristini, since I first mentioned the Disneyesque ending, I felt I
had to respond. First, I totally got a chuckle out of your
narative. But, just because I said JKR could use that ending, I
didn't say that I was hoping for that. I was just trying to make a
point that Voldemort could die fighting Harry without Harry actually
having to use an unforgivable spell. I do agree with you 100% that
if LV's death came about that way, (basically by an accident or
something) it would somehow cheapen it.

The prophesy said that "the one" will have power that the Dark Lord
knows not. From everything that we've seen in all five books, the
one thing that LV can't fight is love. Out of Lily's love for her
son, she was able protect Harry from LV. Harry wasn't able to
defeat LV in COS until he showed loyalty to DD, then he was able to
receive what he needed. In POA, Harry showed integrity and honor in
not allowing Lupin and Sirius to kill Pettigrew. (Causing a bond
between Harry and Pettigrew, according to DD.) In GOF, the love of
Harry's parents again saved him when their shadows came out of LV's
wand, distracting LV so Harry could escape. And, in OOTP, Harry was
about to be possessed by LV until Harry felt the surge of love for
Sirius, which caused LV to leave Harry's body.

While I feel that Harry will have to have a major battle with LV,
(and I am looking forward to Harry kicking the snot out of LV), I
think that Harry's hidden power is going to be "the sum of all the
parts". Meaning Harry is going to have a lot of strentgh from those
who are loyal to Harry and love him. LV has followers, but how many
of those followers are truely loyal to LV? Most know that leaving
LV is a death sentence, and I suspect most of them just want to
share LV's power. How many of them crept back into normal society
when LV was missing all those years? Harry will receive sources of
strength from everyone he cares about, which will make Harry into
something that LV can't defeat. Also, Harry is gathering quite a
group of people that are willing to fight for Harry because Harry
needs their help, not because Harry makes promises or threatens
them. THAT is the power that the Dark Lord knows not.
