As for this,  I don't think the Fidelius Charm was put into use until they 
knew LV was definitely after the Potters, because it had only been in place for 
a week when LV got them and McGonagall said in PoA that they knew LV was after 
them.


Also, another thing that occurred to me, someone else *does* know the whole 
prophecy.  DD refers at the end of OotP to the Keeper of the Hall of Prophecy 
and how the official record (of the prophecy) was relabeled after LV's attack 
on Harry because it seemed plain to the Keeper that LV could only have tried to 
kill him because LV knew he was the one referred to in the prophecy.

Clearly this keeper isn't in league with LV (yet, at least, since LV doesn't 
know the prophecy), but that doesn't mean this person is necessarily good - 
referring to Sirius "The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters"...
