I think Lupin also keeps a very tight grip on himself because 
the "wolf" would like to exert more control than just on the full 
moon.  He knows if he allows himself to become angry then he may be a 
danger to others.  

I know many non-werewolves with this problem.  :)

I think if I ever got any confirmation of this theory, I could go for 
DeadSexy!Lupin.  Nothing like a really dangerous guy who can--and 
will--control it for the right reasons.
