There are "Alternate Education" Methods in use where the Students DO 
teach other  students. Also as Heinlein pointed out in his "Space 
Cadet" the best teacher of a course is often a Student who just took 
and passed the course in the prior semester since he can remember 
what he had problems with and teach to compensate for the problems.
