I should have clarified more. Draco in CoS was at his most brazenly
rancid, spewing his filth in front of larger crowds with shocking
boldness. He is rancid in PoA and GoF as well, but he was more crafty
and just spewed his filth in front of Harry and the gang.

Could someone have gotten in Draco's face, not so much about Draco's
philosophy, but because he was getting pretty reckless about it? It's
like Lucius saying it is not smart to appear less than fond of
Potter. Maybe an older Slyth did the same. If so, then I don't count
this as the "Good Slytherin" because the philosophy isn't questioned,
just the methods.

Or, did someone, perhaps the elusive, mythical, Holy Grail-like "Good
Slyth" grab Draco by his robe collar and say, "Cut the crap, pal"
because Draco was going too far?

All I know is that if Draco indeed got his head dunked, or some other
form of magical hazing, then it is criminal to leave that off-screen.
Perhaps in a flashback.
