~~I can see why she'd stay away from it-controversy. I know there's 
already a ton out thee just b/c of the books story, but I dont think 
it's justified. Also, think aboutthe vast majority of her readers-
they're kids. Homosexuality is a mature issue and I'm not sure that 
she'd bring it up. Now the whole vampire thing is an idea considering 
Lupin was hanging back, because he possibly knows how it feels to 
be "different" but I haven't seen any canon evidence showing that 
Snape or Lupin either one are gay.
