I do not buy the Lupin=James theory, but I don't think this point
invalidates it. According to the theory, James now inhabits Lupin's
body. It's not James' body transfigured to look like Lupin's body...
it really IS Lupin's body. So the map might not be fooled by a
transfiguration, but still be fooled by this.
