In some if not all of Europe, what we Americans call the First Floor
is the Ground Floor, and the first floor up a flight of stairs, is
called the First Floor where as in America we call it the Second
Floor. So there could be some confusion there if that was considered
in the "translation" into "American English" and it may have been a
detail that was overlooked someplace so it may be inconsistant. How do
the references compare to the British Editions?
