as "bullying" Dudley...Harry has been Dudley's punching bag for the
majority of his life and his anger has been steadily growing as he,
himself, has been growing. He's now at an age (and at a high level
of experience in the WW=fighting V/seeing unthinkable horrors most
adults don't have to contend with)...he appears to be just looking
for a way (in that given moment...and he has many of these...of
frustration/resentment) in which to get some release. It's not
surprising or unusual that he appears to be walking around with a
chip on his shoulder...I don't believe for a moment that he ever
intended to use magic on Dudley....just to antagonize him a
bit...that is, he was sporting for a fight. Afterall, Harry didn't
have to save Dudley from the dementor....I would have been shocked
had he not done so, but he did further risk himself to do so.

Again, my post was deleted for bad words, but let me point out that
I defended Harry on humanitarian grounds, and that my > marks were
gone from Diana's post. The quote is not mine but part of the post I
disagreed with. I submit that neither the witch wizard world nor the
muggle world in the books seems able to protect the innocent, rather
like the RW, so Harry does try to do so - he is defending the Evans
boy, according to HP. This I applaud. The original poster's quote
seems to have become mine - as I pointed out, a list elf deleted my
response for a couple "words that must not be used" and it created
some confusion. I was appalled and disgusted by nothing that HP did
in OOP, I want that to be clear, since my theories about the boy in
the closet (either real or figurative) and about the spiritual DNA
extending from the founders on through down to voldemort and potter,
will be severely tainted if anyone on the list thinks I posted anti-
Harry stuff.
