Now for my opinion on why someone becomes a ghost. A person does need
to be magical to come back. This said I do not think it is a charm or
spell that allows someone to come back. I think Nick came back because
he was afraid to go on. Myrtle came back because she wanted to haunt
Olive Hornby. I think that the power to be a ghost comes from an
unwillingness to leave this life behind. I realize that very few
persons want to die but I do think that most people are willing to let
go in hope of meeting our loved ones who have gone befor us on the
last great adventure. I hope this is not muddled up. It is late and my
mind feels like oatmeal.
