Hey, since I has so many questions, I had to make two emails!

Plot holes and the Prophecy please help(!) -
Why bother guarding the prophecy at all? If the OoP knew what the prophecy
was (and they must have, since DD has it safe in his memories) already, why
not just destroy it so VM can never have it? I just don't get it.

** Great point - there may be more to the story or that particular room that
we will find later

and speaking of things I don't get, how did LV know that the night they all
finally broke into the DoM was the same as the night that Harry had the
vision of Sirius? Surely he couldn't have predicted that the gang would ride
the Thestrals to London, and he couldn't have known when Harry finally saw
the vision all the way through to its end. So if this is the case, how did
he know to call all the DE into the very spot that Harry and company would
show up?

** There is a discussion in the book between Hermione and Harry before
leaving to go to London...she believes that since Harry and LV can read each
others minds/emotions that it is possible that LV may be setting a trap for
Harry that very night...this is also comfirmed when DD discusses his
conversation with Kreacher the night of the battle. I don't think that LV
intended Harry and the gang to go on thestals, I do believe that LV believed
that Harry would do what it took to save Sirius and find some means to get
to the MOM.

And if Lucius, who was at the forefront, knew that Harry could
endanger/break the prophecy, then why didn't he just perform some sort of
spell to push Harry away from the shelf before he could grab it?
just....the whole thing was confusing and far fetched to me, and I am
desperately seeking an explanation that makes sense to me.

** Beacuse Harry or LV were the only one able to touch the sphere...Only
those that the prophesy is talking about are able to remove the
sphere...otherwise a "non authorized" person will go mad. Agian this is
mentioned in the book.

A little clarification
