Oh Oh Oh!  And remember- I think it was Minerva that bought Harry his 
first broom (which was also top of the line at that time.)  It never 
really says where that broom came from, but she sort of acknowledges 
it.  I mean think about it- she is one of DD's staunchest supporters, 
she defended Harry to Umbridge (You will be an wuror if it's the last 
thing I do).  She was very sad about Lily and James' death.  Shes my 
personal favorite, and therefore needs more of a storyline and 
backstory.  (Okay that part has nothing to do with anything, but I 
feel it none the less.)  You are right, she is there watching the 
Dursley's all day on the day LV was "defeated" and she even 
questioned Albus about leaving Harry there.  I hadn't thought of 
this, but you might be right.
