We have no canon one way or the other. But, as some people can
suppose Sirius had a girlfriend, others can postulate he had tons of
dates and never got serious about any of them because 1) he enjoyed
playing the field, or 2) he was trying to hide the fact he was gay by
engaging in serial dating.
