Filch's loyalties

Am I the only one a little concerned about Filch still being at Hogwarts?  I know he's a Squib, but he sure did take to Umbridge.  He was the only one who sided with her, trying to help clean up all the "messes" caused by Fred & George.  Did Umbridge even know he's a Squib?  He's always been rather anti-student, but not this bad.   He just seems rather . .. . disloyal.  None of the teachers sided with Umbridge (even Snape, and that would've been good for his mission.  If his mission indeed involves spying for Dumbledore).
