The Cho crush is probably over.
The train ride into Hogwarts at the start of the year and the train
ride home at the end of the year shows the growth and maturing of
all the parties that shared the rides. The change in Ginny, Neville
and Harry are obvious and dramatic. <snip> and the change in Harry's
reactions upon seeing Cho under less than perfect circumstances went
from embarassment to indifference.
Bookworm:
I think you stated it well - that the crush is brobably over.
However, I'm not so sure the *relationship* is over. In some ways I
see this as a development from crush to something else - either a
romantic relationship or friendship. Cho blushing when she saw Harry
tells me she is still interested. Sort of like Ginny's crush on
Harry is developing into friendship (and then maybe something else,
if Ron's hints work <g>). I'm on the fence as to whether Harry will
get involved with either of them. I think I said in an earlier
message (if it made it to the posts) whoever he pairs up with, if
anyone, will have to be someone who can understand a bit of what he
has experienced from LV. Even Hermione hasn't - its been more
academic for her - but Cho has through loss of Cedric, and Ginny has
through her encounter with Tom Riddle.
