Personally I'm just glad that the SHIPping thing has expanded to include gay theories
as well as straight. With all the speculations on which guy loves which girl, and vice
versa, why shouldn't we ponder which guy likes which guy? I really don't think that
the gay theories are any more than the straight ones. I was wondering long before
this thread started whether JKR would ever include any homosexuality in her books,
as she's been very good with equality regarding gender, skincolor, magical heritage
and all that. I often feel like sexual orientation is forgotten when it comes to prejudice
discussions... so I for one would only be pleased if JKR would include some kind of
hint that he or she is gay. (No, I don't think I'd like it if homosexuality was an
important part of the plot; I want it to be as simply there as that of the equality
between genders)
By the way, I kinda like the Sirius/Remus pairing. :)
