There are some small snippets, here and there, which people sometimes
neglect to mention, la. In OOtP, Dudley, accuses Harry of having a
boyfriend (Cedric) in the Chapter Dudley Demented. Harry takes
offence to Dudley making fun of Harry's feelings and emotions, and
Cedrics death. Somewhat subtle gay positive message there. Another
oddball thing, which may not relate to sexuality at all, but I found
funny, was how all the photo "Lockharts" in CoS had to flee from
being seen with curlers in their hair, and one was wearing a hair
net. Of course, thats more attached to the femininity of the
character and not necessarily the sex he/she is attracted to. (would
narscism be a form of sexuality? I think Gil is DEFINITELY attracted
to himself. XD)

Another thing, is that men usually don't HUG eachother! Not very
often. Only when there is an extreme emotion, or "like brothers" as
said in PoA when Sirius and Remus hugged. So they hugged. How many
hugs have we seen between males in the Potterverse? Very few, in
fact. Men handshake, pat each other on the back, etc, but only when
there is extreme emotion, or they know eachother as family, would two
men hug. I'm not saying that Sirius and Remus are gay lovers or
anything, but the EMOTIONAL aspects of loving someone of the same
gender are there, its not just about sex right, there's the emotional
part of it too. So I have to disagree when people say that there
hasn't been any sign of gay behavior in HP. There IS, just not in a
way that would make it a serious issue, because it doesn't need to
be. Its just there, not for the sake of it existing, not to show its
there, but because its a natural part of who we are. There's more,
but I don't have my books with me to go digging for it.

Phew, I'm exhasted, and I forgot most of what I was going to write.
Oh yeah, somewhat related, but wanted to mention. Its funny how Snape
and Karkaroff are on a first name basis. Are all the Death Eaters on
a first name basis, or was that just a fluke? And WHY did Karkaroff
want Snape to flee with him, did he care about Snape in some way?
Emotionally attached somehow? *smirk* RELATED? lol! XD

(Pulling threads out of air here, but meh, its lunch, I'm hungry, I
need to vent, blargh)

Lee (Oh, one OT thing here, Draco is a pratty lovely, evil evil
~insane~ but awesome character. "The Dementors send their LOVE
Potter!" *shivers* that just gives me the creeps and flutters!)
