  Actually (and perhaps this is just me), Harry has quite a lot of friends...true friends, that is, for that type of friend is not easy to come by...not by my experience...I'm not speaking of acquaintences.
  He has Ron and Hermione (especially close friends) and has been accepted into the rest of the Weasley family And Hagrid....I see this as having a wealth of friends (what I wouldn't give for the same...).
  Harry, IMHO, has loads of love...
