Not at all! It's just an interpretation of the text. Most cases
will likely neither be confirmed or denied unless it becomes
relevant to the plot in terms of their motivation or background.
But I said before and I say again, to crassly heterosexualize a
character for no reason except to stop people saying they're gay is
a clumsy, pointless trick which I don't think JKR would resort to.
And what's more, it doesn't work. It has that "protest too much"
quality that makes people go "Ahhh, but!"

Besides, what skin off her nose is it, if people want to speculate
about her characters? And why would she get more tired of people
speculating about same-sex ships than girl-boy ships? At least
they're engaging with the book – as a some time author myself, I
know there's nothing more gratifying than people getting into what
you've written, even if they do interpret it differently to you.
She'd have no reason other than plain spite and prejudice to do
this.

And I don't suppose she reads this list, either – I don't have time
to read it all, and she has a more time-consuming job than I do!
