I think K is referring to the fact that the great hall was decorated 
in green and silver then changed.  

If Dumbledore was going to award the points, he should have awarded 
them immediately (the night before) and explained them at the feast.

The Great Hall should never have been decorated in green and 
silver.  The was it was done was unneccessarily (and probably 
unintionally) cruel.
