  I personally feel that, from the way things have been written so far, whatever she sees as motivation behind a character, JKR will only be referring to hetro married couplings, with a possible blossoming romance, as 'adult' relationships.  Dating and crushes will be a part of teenage school life, although I would speculate on Harry and/or Ron being the subject(s) of a very embarrasingly obvious crush from a younger male quidditch fan!  


  Of course, this won't stop me speculating on what some characters might get up to off of the page!  Thank goodness they are written with both a depth and lightness of touch that makes them believable characters.
