I mentioned it. I can see Harry's reasons for ignoring the mirrors 
but not Sirius'. After the first Fireplace Communication (especially 
almost getting caught) Sirius should have read Harry the riot act for 
not using the Mirrors. Not only are they safer to use but do not 
require sneaking into Umbridge's office or waiting to make the call 
only when the coast was clear (ie: The office was available).
