[HPforGrownups] Snape's role in the Order

Harry says it's Snape's job to find out what LV is saying to the DEs 
and then there was a 
"curious, almost satisfied expression on Snape's face when he 
answered. 'Yes Potter,' he said, his eyes glinting. 'That is my 
job." Page 591, Scholastic. 
Well, we all know Snape. If he's looking almost satisfied somebody, 
usually Harry, must have messed up. He's probably thinking "That's 
right. Let your arrogance lead you astray yet again Potter." 
 

Me -

Actually I interpreted that reaction to mean "at last the brat id finally
starting to think rather than just leaping to stupid conclusions. Maybe if
he can keep using his brain I won't have to keep rescuing the ungrateful
sod!"

But that's just my interpretation. Even though he hates Snape he is clearly
associating him with the good guys here and if he thinks he is a spy he's
less likely to run his mouth off about Snape being a good guy.
