Sorry for all the snipping. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say
they are one in the same, but there have been many times I've had the
feeling they are somehow connected. And that thing about both their
names meaning white!?!? I didn't know that. Given the author's
interest in language and its origins that just can't be a
coincidence. There just must be something significant between them.
I seem to remember at least one person remarking to Harry on Hedwig's
intelligence and concern for Harry. I'll bet those are little clues
from JKR that there's something more to Hedwig. Can't wait to see
what I find the next time I read the books.
