Death toll will rise

I think it's obvious that we are going to see the death toll soar in
the next two books. I think in the seventh book especially we will
see many of our favorite characters killed off. Just think about that
old photo Harry saw of the Order of the Phoenix and how many of the
members had died. Not only will book seven be full of stunning
revelations (at least I hope), but it will be full of death. Rowling
has been slowly preparing us for major deaths. First it was Cedric,
who was a semi-major character, and then Sirius who was a main and
popular character and someone very close to Harry. But that's only
the beginning. Below I have listed some of the people I think could
or will die.

Dumbledore. I am very sure (99.9%) that he will die in 6 or 7. Since
the ultimate show down will be between Harry and Voldemort,
Dumbledore has to be out of the way since he was the only one
Voldemort ever feared. Also, Dumbledore is really the only reason
that Voldemort hasn't regained complete power. My guess is that
Voldemort will take Dumbledore out first and then go after Harry.

The Weasleys. I will be very surprised if at least one of the
Weasleys isn't killed off by the time the series ends. They should be
very high on Voldemort's list since they are both stunch supporters
of Dumbledore and Harry. Voldemort might try to use the power-hungry
Percy to infiltrate the family, or he might use Ron or Ginny to get
to Harry. My guess is that the ones to die will be Mr.& Mrs. Weasley
and Ginny. I hope against hope that Ron will not die but he very well
could be. I don't think he will because I think Rowling will keep the
trio alive till the end (at least I hope).

Lupin. My guess is that he will be killed in his werewolf form.

Peter Pettigrew. Obviously he will do something to help out Harry
(due to Dumbledore's prediction in PoA), but he will die. My guess is
that he will make a big come around in the end, but in the process
lose his life.

Neville. I'm not as sure about him. The reason I think this is
because of his connection with the prophecy. Voldemort may kill him
just to be on the safe side.

Malfoy. I am sure Lucius will die. I hope Malfoy does. Unlike Snape,
who has a semi-valid reason for hating Harry, Malfoy's hate is pure
spite and envy.

The Dursleys. I'm sure at least one will die, probably Petunia, since
she is the one most closly related to Harry. Voldemort may kill her,
thus ending the blood protection that she has provided.

Well, that's all I can think of for now. I will probably have more
later. Please post objections, or other people you think will die.
