I agree with you here. All of his comments about being prepared for
death just make me think he's going to die sometime in the series.
Plus, all the points you mentioned.

I think exactly one will die, but who knows? My best guess is Percy
(though if he does die, he'll be redeemed before it happens).
Otherwise, one of the two eldest brothers.

POSSIBLY, but I'm thinking that Rowling will leave one of James'
group alive at the end. I really don't see her killing off Lupin.

Yes, very likely. He's just too pathetic to leave alive.

Nah. Neville's too cool :-) I really hope he doesn't die. Rowling
stated that one of the Hogwart's students will become a Hogwart's
teacher, but it won't be Harry. I'm thinking it will be Neville, and
he'll get the DADA job. That would be so cool!

Another "ditto".

You think so? I've never really thought about any of the muggles.
Obviously Voldemort would have a reason to kill Petunia.

Some of my own guesses:

Snape - I'm pretty sure Snape is doomed in book 7. I see him
sacrificing his life to save Harry (Rowling mentioned in an interview
that he will redeem himself. I think that he will probably die in
the process.)

Fudge - I think Arthur Weasley is gonna become the new Minister of
Magic. For that to happen, of course, Fudge will either have to
resign or kick the bucket.
