My first question which may be obvious to some, is what was the map
at the start of OoP which Bill was trying to get rid of because
Harry and the others had come into the kitchen at Grimmauld Place?
My first thought was the MoM? Maybe it has no significance, or
maybe we will find out in later books.
Now for my theory on Dumbledore's silver instrument. I think that
Harry will become animagus and will become a snake. And i don't
think it will be on purpose if that can be possible. In many
instances throughout the books, alot of the feelings/experiences he
has are mentioned as "snake like". And I know he is feeling what
Voldermort is feeling, but I think there is more to it: for
example, when Harry was explaining to Sirius about wanting to bite
Dumbledore, Harry made a comment "It was like something rose up
inside me, like there's a snake inside me--" pge 481. I think this
may be a clue to Harry becoming a snake and not just his link to
Voldermort. I also think the instrument represents Harry and
Voldermort (Voldermort being the green snake and Harry the
red). ....which could also be linked to the prophecy, which may be
why Dumbledore didn't seem surprised by the snake and then spliting
into two (as though he has seen it many times before), but maybe he
was hoping for some sort of change...
