My reply:
I think you hit it right there.  Molly is upset that Sirius can come out of nowhere and suddenly have this much pull on Harry's life.  But the thing that I want to pull out of this whole thing....is yes Harry was closer to Sirius.  And yes he wanted to be with Sirius more than anything else in the world.  Why?  Well, I'll tell you for the first time in Harry's life he had something that belonged exclusively to him (well I guess he had his owl..but youi know).  I mean Sirius had nothing else in the world (that we know of..I'm assuming that he does not have children scattered around the country).  And Harry had nothing that exclusively belonged to him (save Hedwig).  I mean he doesn't even get his best friend exclusively.  So it's natural that he would gravitate towards him. And besides the fact that they are both guys..and well you know he cant' just walk up to Molly and start discussing cho chang and quidditch I mean he could but we all know he wouldn't do that.
