================
Yes, I also agree that AD knows how to use Avada Kedavra. In the HP
books, we are always told that a witch or wizard doesn't use Dark
Magic, doesn't mean he or she can't.

Given what we learn from HP books, AD is a very good-natured wizard.
In CoS, when HRH were caught in spot where Mrs Norris had been
petrified, Snape intended to punish Harry for "not being entirely
trueful". But AD said "innocent until proven guilty". I can deduce
that he must be a stong opponent against death penalty. He will not
use death to punish his enemies, whatever how guilty they are.
