Well, I liked the real Moody at times. For example, at the end of the book when he threatened Uncle Vernon so well. I loved that. And when he was giving the speech about getting Harry to safety no matter what, if someone dies, keep going, etc. As far as Moody not trusting Harry, well, that's Moody. This is the man who won't drink something someone else gives him in case it's poisoned, I'd say his motto is rather X-fileish. "Trust no one." However, one thing I was disappointed in was Moody's performance (or lack thereof) in the battle at the end of the book. I know he's retired, but he was supposed to be so great, and doesn't last any time at all. Goodness, *Neville* lasted longer than Moody did. Tonks didn't last much longer, but she's young and inexperienced, especially compared to Moody.
