Me, KM
You know, I think that's a good question. I never even thought about
it before. I'm just rereading PoA now, so I'll have to take notice
of it this time. Off the top of my head I have to say
it sounds like a flint. After all, the staff at Hogwarts would have
to count on none of the students in Muggle Studies, Divination and
Arithmancy complaining about know-it-all Hermione to each other.
Seems a bit unlikely considering how well known she is. If any of
them ever talked to each other about Hermione in class they'd notice
she was in two places at the same time. Maybe JKR just overlooked
that. Oh well.

So they mention it lot, eh? Well, knowing JKR it must be something
we're supposed to remember for the future books. Like the not
apparating from Hogwarts thing. I'd guess it turns out to be fairly
integral. Lots of people think time-turning will play a major role
in the final showdown. Maybe LV somehow destroys himself because he
breaks time-turning rules. Maybe Harry goes back for some reason and
has to resist destroying LV in the past because it breaks the rule.
The possibilities are endless. Thanks for pointing it out.

Me
She just wanted to take a lot of classes because she loves learning
everything she can, especially about magic. At least that's what I
always thought. Typical Hermione.
