I liked Moody (the real one...)  When he says "...there's something funny 
about the Potter kid, we all know that" it's not as if he's known Harry for a 
long time.  He's simply stating a fact - c'mon, we all know there's something 
funny about Harry (it could be the fact that he's being singled out by the most 
powerful dark wizard in a century!).  Moody hasn't known Harry for very long.  
He doesn't know what Harry is actually like.  It's not his fault he was locked 
in a trunk for nine months and missed out on meeting Harry in a scholastic 
situation...
