I posted that question even though I thought it was 
unlikely...possible, but unlikely.  I liked Jake's response as 
well...that magic without a wand is interesting.  HERE is the point 
I wanted to get at.  IMHO I think JKR is going to bring a TON of 
stuff back from the first book in the last two books.  The hair 
thing seems to fit with Tonks' introduction.  I like Jake's look at 
it better however.  I was looking for little things that JKR would 
play with (like she did with Siruis' bike), but the idea of wandless 
magic is the very type of small thing that she could bring back and 
use.  I'm sure there are many other odd little happenings in the 
early books that are going to be very important latter on.  Any 
other ideas?
