I think you're on to something, but it's tough to know exactly what.  
What other details do you have in mind that JKR might bring back?  I 
haven't read PS/SS in several months, so I'm having trouble 
remembering small details like that.

I'm thinking, though, about Dudley's "Smelting stick."  Could it 
actually be some sort of a wand?  Maybe he's the one who learns magic 
late in life.  Unlikely, but worth considering.

Also, what happened to Fluffy after book 1?  He didn't die, so is DD 
still keeping him somewhere?
