Well I'd go with nothing.

I agree, entirely. He's so incredibly rich, I assume, he doesn't need to do anything at all. I think he "works" by getting high connections (with Fudge, for example) and affiliations with influential groups (the Hogwarts Board of Governors) all in the pursuit of getting more and more power when he needs it. This is a long term goal, mind you. He's probably been at this, (making huge donations, etc.) since he got hold of the Malfoy estate.
