Melinda, I agree that Harry will most likely tell Ron and Hermione
eventually about the prophesy. This does involve a lot of "ifs", but
I think they are very possible. I believe that there is a great
chance of Ron going over to the dark side, one of the main points
often made is his jelousy towards Harry for his popularity and it
seems as if he would do anything to gain it, especially when he gets
a little older. There is a bunch of evidence for this that Im sure
has been posted earlier, if anyone would like to search for it if
they are not sure about this theory. But if Harry ever tells Ron,
then Ron goes over to the dark side, he would most likely tell
Voldemort, and what a drastic change that would make in the series,
correct? I dont remember the prophesy perfectly well, but wouldnt
that practically get Harry killed? Either JK Rowling would come up
with a really good twist where Harry gets out of it, or Harry gets
killed, which JK says is NOT impossible. But, I doubt she would kill
him off in the end so the possibility of Ron going over to the dark
side goes down drastically, especially if she ever says if Harry
dies or not, which I doubt will happen, at least for me that is.

(Sorry if my theory is messed up as I dont remember the prophesy
very well, and I dont have my book right now.)
