> Speaking of Lupin, I've been pondering Lupin's future role. He
played the role of comforter a good bit in OOP (several times to
Molly). Someone's going to need to comfort Harry in the future
(whether he wants it or not, he needs it). I've always thought of
Molly as the comforting one (it's certainly her tendancy), but I'm
not sure if Harry will feel comfortable with that now after hearing
her argue with Sirius so much. I think he'll get over it, sure, but
may keep that in mind a while. Perhaps Lupin will take over that
role? Since he was friends with both James and Sirius, he'll be
Harry's closest connection to both of them. I wouldn't be surprised
if Harry gets closer to Lupin. New father figure? Maybe. Dead in
Book 6? Better not be!

I totally agree with you! I hope we see lots and *LOTS* more Lupin
in the next two books. He and Sirius(sniff, sniff) were my two
favorites (other than Harry), and now that Sirius is gone, I think
JKR owes us more of Lupin. I also agree that Harry needs someone to
comfort him. I know Molly would try her best, but maybe Harry had
rather have a man to go to, like he had with Sirius. I also want to
see more of Lupin's reaction to Sirius' death and how he copes with
it. Maybe I read too much slash, but I really wanted to see some
emotion from Lupin. Sirius was his last best friend, and I know that
he feels the loss. I just want to see it on the page.
