Ron and the Mirror of Erised

Has anyone noticed that what Ron saw in Mirror of Erised is heading 
toward the potential of comming true.
1) He saw himself as Quiditch Captain, But you cant be Captain until 
you are on the team and now he is Keeper.  Will he end up being 
Captain.
2) He saw himself as headboy, Now he is Prefect and most headboys 
are prefects first.
Are Rons visions in the Mirror coming true, if so what does this 
mean for Harry's visions in the Mirror
