Just remind you what Dumbledore said: This mirror doesn't show the 
future. It is possible that what it shows happens but I don't think 
that coul be the case here, for Harry's parents are really dead.
I'd want also to notice that Harry doesn't recognize anyone known 
when he sees his family: Dumbledore cannot then be his grand father 
or anything like that.
