I agree...she's a bad, bad lady. However, she's married to a cruel,
sadistic, and truly evil man. He treats her slightly better than he
treated Dobby, the house elf. She's in a miserable, loveless
marriage. Both Narcissa and Draco fear Lucius more than they love him
and if push came to shove, Narcissa would betray him to save Draco. I
believe Lucius will get out of Azkaban early in Book 6. There may be
a situation where Narcissa has to make a choice. She won't become a
Dumbledore supporter or a member of the Order, but she may betray
Lucius/Voldemort in order to protect Draco.

That's just my opinion...what's yours?

DId I miss something in the books about Narcissa ? Where does it say she's mistreated, in a loveless marriage, is miserable, will sacrifice her husband for Draco, et al? We've only seen her once that I recall - at the World Cup - and then the reference to her was very short. Even Sirius' comment about her was brief - that she had made a good marriage to Malfoy. Or is the above info about Narcissa , including the assumption that she's a "bad, bad lady" merely FanFiction?
